VSP (Very Special Person) Program
These bi-monthly events allow a "Very Special Person" at JDCH to leave their hospital bed & have some fun. We provide friends that care, personalized snacks & gifts & even guest appearances by some of the kids' favorite characters. Sponge-Bob & Scooby Doo have recently joined us.

Opportunities are available, if you are interested, in sponsoring a "VSP" Party through your company or in memory or honor of a loved one. We promise it is an unforgettable experience!!! Please contact the foundation for more information.


Stephen's Place
Our long term goal as a foundation is to build "Stephen's Place", a Family Resource Center at the new Joe DiMaggio's Children Hospital. This much needed support center will offer families a wealth of knowledge. Fully equipped with research material, a link to the outside world with computers, internet acess, copiers, faxes, etc. & the comfort of being surrounded by other families in similar unfortunate situations.

With the generous support of our families, friends & donors we are making BIG strides toward our $500,000 goal. We could never do this without each & every one of you!!! YOU MAKE A DIFFERENCE & we thank you!

Charity Hold’Em Tournament
March 1st, 2008
Please join us in supporting our mission by being a player in another one of our fun filled charity events. The event is Saturday, March 1, 2008. Sign-in between 6:00PM – 6:45PM - Shuffle and deal at 7PM.

With regulation tables and professional dealers and thousands of dollars in prizes, your entrance fee will help to enrich the lives and relieve some of the burdens of those brave children and families that struggle each and every day through treatment.

Past Activities:

2007 The 4th Annual Steven LaBruyere Jr. Charity Golf Event This event raised money to help more families and children at the JDMH.

2006 Our Texas Hold'em event in November  was fun and exiting for all who attended. The funds raised from this event helped pay for holiday gifts for families with children who are struggling with the affects of the  worst kind of  illnesses.  And your contributions went a long way to bring smiles to those little faces. 

2006 The 3rd Annual Steven LaBruyere Jr. Charity Golf Event was a great success and the proceeds helped many families and children at the JDMH. 

2006 -The Depend On Us Foundation is hosts many events throughout the year including the 1st Annual Easter Egg Hunt & Craft Day at Joe DiMaggio's Children's Hospital. 



Dependonus hosts social events that encourage others to give. Through these events we have raised thousands of dollars for children and their families.
